Yo this is the way we do laundry too in my country india a nice way to wash clothes with the hand and then put it for dry outside in the sun. also good becuse saves engery for the elecrity and a kind of way to wash clothes ourself help to excerise our body.
We had fun doing our laundry by hand--though we had to teach a few of the guys how to wash their clothes! Many people in America still hang their clothes out to dry when the weather allows (it is hard to dry clothes when it is snowing...!), and every once in a while, I like to hand-wash things.
